OBG-Raptor™ (OBG-16252)

Introduced by Oregon Blueberry, OBG-Raptor™ is a new, innovative Rabbiteye variety designed for growers seeking exceptional productivity and fruit quality. In Oregon field trials, OBG-Raptor consistently delivered impressive yields, averaging upwards of 25⁺ lbs (11.3⁺ kg) pounds per plant. The fruit is large and uniform, averaging 18.2 mm, with firmness that meets today’s market standards and exceeds that of popular northern and southern highbush varieties. The fruit is firm with nearly undetectable seeds, creating an eating experience that rivals highbush varieties. Harvest typically overlaps Titan. It can be concentrated into a single picking for efficient management. Its machine-harvest suitability and consistent post-harvest quality make OBG-Raptor an outstanding option for commercial growers targeting both the fresh and processed markets.
